Trout are rising. Just got back from creeling Ashurst. Had four snap the leader on 6-pound test. 06/29/2020 Fishing has picked up and trout are being caught on a variety of methods. There was an exception with the East side being better. In addition, catfish can be caught on chicken liver and hotdogs. Folks are catching pike.
That can be very important here in northern Arizona where less resilient lakes sometimes dry up.
