You can select it for all the boxes, but particularly for the "Adjust Desktop Color Settings ". The Asus had a strong yellow tint in all modes. However, if the native resolution setting is not delivering the best appearance, the LCD monitor settings can be easily calibrated to enhance the screen's appearance.
If the screen looks fine then the problem is either with the data cables or the notebook itself.
EDIT: Managed to fix it by simply using a different cable :) Posted by 2 years ago. It is probably not the fault of the video card itself -- it technically could be, but it's the last thing to check. I use the widescreen for develop mode, and the 17 for loupe.
Look for on-screen settings or hardware buttons to control tint, contrast, gamma and related visuals. I've scoured the web for solutions and have: - Ensured Win 10 Night Light was off (it was) - Ensured Lenovo Vantage Eye Care was off (it was) - 'Uninstalled' the display adaptor and rebooted so Windows found it again and reinstalled the driver I tried correcting it using only the monitor's OSD menu, but it's not doable.
Check how the monitor is listed, it should say the brand (Planar) and model.
You could fix the yellow tint just through hardware adjustments on your monitor. The recent monitor I just is having a yellow tint on white. posted by kindall at 10:00 AM on June 27, 2004
Typically, setting the LCD monitor colors to its native resolution (the LCD monitor's initial display setting provided by the manufacturer) should provide the optimal image.
I restarted my PC, and went into the monitor's settings and tried changing the colours aswell as resetting all, but the tint remains. It is not same white as the one I bought about 1 year ago. The monitor itself is a Benq G922HDAL 18.5 inch. I have sent it back three times and all the replacements have the same problem.
The second monitor, the crappy one, has taken to going to a blue tint.
While using both screens 1 has a yellow tint (the right screen) but when I switch back to using just the single monitor (left screen) then that screen has the yellow tint? For some reason when I turned my second monitor on this morning it had a very strong yellow tint. Hi, there For the past two weeks I've experienced the on-again, off-again yellow tint to the monitor's screen. Many of those who succeeded found that yellow tint present. I use LR in dual monitor mode. This is sometimes the fault of the monitor, but more frequently, as others have indicated, a cable problem.
Monitors intended to be used as either PC displays or as TVs usually include some controls, independent of Windows, that control the appearance of the screen. The only issue is that the whites seem to be on the yellow side, and when I look from my phone or second monitor back to my screen, it's certainly very noticeable.
